This song came up as a random selection in my mp3 player while I was immersed in some chore. I realized then that I had indeed missed Unni’s voice lately. His voice has such a fragile innocence, it's capable of reining in Vairamuthu’s overwrought romanticism and making it sound earnest. The female voice has complemented Unni fairly well.
With assaulting beats contrasting the lovers’ gentle foreplay, the song splashes like the wake up call of the morning breeze. I hope the past isn’t my only resort for such numbers from Vidhyasagar. He needs a wake up call of sorts after the last few soundtracks.
