I happened on this song while searching for a different song by Govardhanam and it's these unexpected discoveries that keep me ticking with hope. The tabla, veenai, flute, and guitar create a familiar yet distinct orchestration due to the fast tempo. The fast tempo is whet by emotional singing (usually found in sad songs) that sets a unique contrast to the whole composition. Don't you agree that Govardhanam deserves to be on Saravanan's list of candidates deserving encomiums. Here's a coin into that wishing well.
