- I did a radio show on SPB songs in the 70s last week. One of the songs that I featured was this one. What an excellent song for SPB! The lyrics brims with double meaning (Kannadasan?). The song is picturized on Jaishankar and Jayachitra.
- In his writeup for panimalai mEgangaL, Saravanan mentions that this movie was released in 1974.
