Song of the Day: vaazhkkai endroru paadal.
Listen to the song- Udhaya writes:

This 70s gem is so obscure that any mention of it in Google also has people wondering about the song's origin. The composition threw me for a loop. The tempo had me guessing MSV, but then the sandham has some abrupt shifts (that are brilliantly smoothed over by SPB) not characteristic of MSV, so I thought Shankar-Ganesh, but then the piano was nicely used which brought to mind MSV, V.Kumar, and Vijayabasker. Midway through the song I also added GKV as a suspect for the fast rolling sandham and SPB combination, something he used in several wonderful numbers in the 70s. Then, towards the end the song goes into a mini raagamaaliga which distorts any signature.
So, I heard it a few more times without any questions and realized that the song is defiantly original, which is reason enough to get it on SOTD. Enjoy, and of course shed light on all the contributors to the song, please.
