From the under-recognized composer A.M.Raja who gave my all time fave romantic waltz (nilavum malarum) comes this rarity--a song whose emotion and words hint at hidden wounds while the music moves along in a chipper waltz beautifully orchestrated with delicate guitar strumming, lavish violins, and a gently bubbling tabla. Perhaps the situation in the movie calls for a song and an occasion in odds with the singer. Whatever the case, the song achieves this paradox without compromising the melody. PS fleshes out and elevates a good composition to a grand song.
