Song: En Ullam Azhagana Velli Thirai
Singer: Vani Jairam
Music: Shankar Ganesh
Cinema Paithiyam, produced by ALS Productions and directed by V. Srinivasan, was released in 1975. I guess the music direction was by Shankar-Ganesh. It starred Jayachitra, Kamalahasan, JaiShankar, Thengai Srinivasan, Sowkar Janaki, V.K. Ramaswamy and others.
It was a remake of Guddi (1971) starring Jaya Bhadhuri and Samit Bhanja with Utpal Mukherjee, Dharmendra etc being the supporting cast.
It is a story about a "girl" Jayachitra who is smitten by Makkal Kalaignar JaiShankar. This song reminds me of a time that was much more simple, carefree life. Hope you guys enjoy it too.
