I have no idea when this movie came out but SPB's voice here sounds close to his "malligaippoo vaangi vanthEn" days. SJ sounds pretty fresh as well, a real pleasure when I don't have to adjust my bass/treble settings for her. S-G pulsate the song with daft accordion usage backed by the kind of drum beats, bass, and percussion combination that was common in Indian films for up tempo urban songs some decades ago. Violin and sitar (at least I think it is) round out the string section. But I better not go on about the orchestration for fear of hearing about a Hindi original for this tune. I hadn't heard this one until a few days ago. I hope more of you get to discover this.
