- Sung by J.P.Chandrababu. MD: MSV (?). Chandrababu has sung this song very well, IMO. He was a good singer, he has sung a song for Sivaji too!

I recently read a story. Once MSV's group and Chandrababu went to Delhi and they were invited to the then President Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan's residence. He asked them to sing. Someone brought a harmonium and MSV gave the key and JP sang his tear jerker: "Pirakkumbodhum azhuginran". Radhakrishnan listened to the whole thing and then commented "what a meaningful song and what an emotion". JP got very delighted and he jumped into the Presidents lap and with his fingers caught hold of President's chin and said, "Kannu, nee periya rasiganda". Everybody was shocked but then all laughed including the President.
