We have people like Harris, Ranjit, Joshua and Pravin who have struck out on their own - quite succesfully in some cases - and if not before, atleast now they can surely express their resentment at ARR hogging their credit - if he actually did so. If anything, this will add value to their profile as a MD since there will atleast be a few takers for such claims even if they cant prove it.

And if someone is really doing stellar work for ARR and is not willing to come out openly to claim so, then surely, he himself doesnt believe that he has the ability to independently deliver what ARR does - which surely means that they would never have been responsible for whole tunes and orchestration?(which Jerry claims Naushad allowed his assistants to
create and then hogged credit himself), how can we even take such persons seriously?

To me the salient point is that Jerry claims that Naushad took credit for TUNES created by his assistants. Surely, the worst detractor of ARR(one of whom is me ;-) ) cannot accuse ARR of doing so? !!!

That was me. My connection is slow and I login only once or so in a week. If the cookies get deleted, I end up as guest here. Please bear with the unintender anonymity I get to don once in a while like this.

About the "On and on and on" comment, I believe it was a British reviewer. Aan is not really a big hit or acclaimed movie for both Mehboob Khan and Yusuf Khan!

That is a painstaking but at the end a wonderful digging exploration. Thanks for the effort! The artefact are worth it.
