I did not know this song was by S-G. It is after years that I am hearing this song. People familiar with Mallu film music may note that this song reminds us of the much newer song "kanaka nilaavE thuyiluNaroo" from the movie "kauravar". The portion " pa;pama gamagam pa;pama gamagam papSnipa ma,ga,; " is the same as the pallavi of SOTD.

The mrudangam for some strange reason reminds me of Indira logaththu sundari.

no credits to ramesh ,none whatsoever
