Srikanth Srinivasa likes humor and has conducted humor sessions in and around bay area. Srikanth’s hobby is photography and has been contributing to Thendral magazine. Srikanth has co-hosted quite a few special programs in 90.1 FM – Mostly Tamil – tamil radio show. He has been acting in plays in the bay area…. Paanchali Sabatham (Dhuryodanan), Akkini-Kunju (Bharathi Yaar), Thanimai (Mani Iyer) and most recently as Thasildar during Thillana’s MannVasam – 2004.

 

An avid theater lover, Rajiv Jayaraman acted as a software geek, much like his real-life persona, in Naatak’s “Kaasu mela Kaasu” and as a newly-wed doting husband, much like his real-life persona again, in Krea’s “Thanimai”. He played ‘closer to real-life’ roles in the short movie, “Untold Secrets” and the short play, “America Polama?”.  Recently, he played the mythological character, Indran, in a compering skit for Sanhiti’s vanavil.  His role in this play is so far removed from all the roles he has essayed thus far. He is passionate about Carnatic music and  enjoys composing songs to impress his wife, Anu !

 

Rajan Varadarajan has been acting in plays in the Bay Area from 1980. He did the first play for Tamil Manram in 1980 and has acted and directed number of comedy plays. Recently he acted in the main role of Kreacreations' Maya.
He is a Sales professional and has been in the Bay Area for the past 27 years. He lives in San Jose with his wife, who is an Instructional Assistant in San Jose Unified School . He has a son who is married, working in Marketing at a software company and a daughter graduated from Law School . Rajan is a proud grand-father for a six year old girl and loves to play Golf.

 

Kanaka Guruprasath is a known face to many Patti Manram enthusiasts.  A regular debater during school and colege days.  Kanaka Spoke in Visu's Arattai Arangam in Singapore which was aired on Sun TV.  In the Bay area a regular voice in Mostly Tamil, she has also co-hosted some specials.  She has also acted in plays like "Badam Alwa Pazhaya Soru Aagirathu" and "Thanimai".  Her other interests are sports and Music.

 

M. S. Krishnan has written and staged several dramas for Tamil Manram, including “K.D. bathil”,”CHI.com”, Masaala MuththukkaL”, BUMsRUs”, ‘Ready for Prom-time”, “ABCD Durbaar”, “Oscar R.K.”, “Ikkaraikku akkarai Pachchai”. He has also acted in dramas such as “Vaanga Nambi vaanga”, “Akkinik kunju”, ”Thanimai”, “KadavuLum kandasaamip piLLaiyum”, ”Prince of Ayodhya” etc. In addition to composing and choreographing music for dramas, he has performed in Classical Music concerts and Light Music programs in Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada. In his spare time, he dabbles in deep sub-micron ASIC design and portable digital media processing !

 

Ramki Ramakrishnan is well known for his role as Bhima in Tamil Mandram's Panchali Sabatham two years ago. He also acted in 'Akkinik kunju' play last year. He is currently working as a software engineer in a silicon valley company.

 

When he is not running behind his one year old kid, Balaji Srinivasan maintains dhooL.com, a popular site for Tamil Film Music and more. He also blogs frequently on various subjects, writes professional film and book reviews and leads an effort to digitize and discuss Kamba Ramayanam. He is passionate about serious theater, and this is his biggest directorial effort so far. He religiously follows Metti oli in Sun TV with his wife Aruna and loves reading all the faux news and gossip in Dinakaran.
